The 4th Annual Gumbo Fest is back on Saturday, March 1st, bringing the community together for a day filled with food, music, and local artistry.

This free, all-ages event invites gumbo enthusiasts to compete for bragging rights, as well as the coveted People’s Choice and Judge’s Choice prizes.

Tasting begins at 4pm, giving attendees the chance to sample and vote for their favorite gumbo.

Beyond the competition, the pop-up market will feature vendors selling clothing, crafts, vintage items, and handmade wares, offering a unique shopping experience kicks off at 3pm.

DJ MONTEZ will provide New Orleans-inspired tunes throughout the afternoon, setting the mood for a lively festival atmosphere.

As the day winds down, local live band - Hazard Hounds - takes the stage at 6pm for an evening of live music and entertainment.
