Fried Chicken in Govalle, Austin

“Came to The Cavalier for wings and deviled eggs but arrived during brunch hours instead. No regrets—the chicken biscuit with spicy honey butter and chicken and waffles were outstanding. The waffle, surprisingly, was the highlight of the meal. Fried chicken was flavorful and well-seasoned. A solid beer selection and a decent cabernet blend made for a well-rounded meal. The outdoor seating was comfortable, with fans and misters to keep things cool. Would love to return for their regular menu!”

“Y’all have the best fried chicken in Austin in my humble opinion and the new Chicken Sando was too good, I ate the whole glorious thing in 2 minutes (not saying it’s small cause it’s pretty huge).”

“The fried chicken & beignets are SO delicious. Definitely some of the best seasoned fried chicken I've had in Austin. I also ordered a bacon burger, and that was also top notch! The bloody mary mix is delicious, and you have to try the Electric Jellyfish Michelada. 5 stars all the way around, I will return here to try "The best chicken sandwhich is Austin" after trying the chicken & beignets.”
