“Came to The Cavalier for wings and deviled eggs but arrived during brunch hours instead. No regrets—the chicken biscuit with spicy honey butter and chicken and waffles were outstanding. The waffle, surprisingly, was the highlight of the meal. Fried chicken was flavorful and well-seasoned. A solid beer selection and a decent cabernet blend made for a well-rounded meal. The outdoor seating was comfortable, with fans and misters to keep things cool. Would love to return for their regular menu!”

“I had the chicken biscuit off the brunch menu when I stopped in to meet the other riders for Social Cycling Austin. The flavor blew me away. The sauce underneath the biscuit was what brought it all together. Save it for a flavor blast when you get to the heart of it, or spread it around the entire chicken, which overhangs greatly the borders of the biscuit. There is only one kind of coffee but it was delightful. I forget what kind of creamer they used that day, but I really loved it. An almond milk, maybe.”
